Emine Aşcı is a Lecturer at the University of Siegen's Faculty I of English Studies, specializing in Linguistics. She holds a Master of Education (M. Ed.) and is conducting a PhD project focused on the effects of native languages (L1s) on genitive variation in English. Her research examines differences in genitive preference and processing among native speakers, monolingual learners, and bilingual learners using experimental and corpus-based methods. Current teaching includes Morphology and Syntax courses.
