Emily Schmidt is a Professor of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, holding this position since 2015. She also served as a student success adviser (2014–15), instructor at The Art Institute (2006–15), and Chair of Graphic Design and Fine Art at Burlington College (2010–14). Her academic contributions include developing degree programs like the Graphic Design and Interdisciplinary Arts B.F.A., and teaching courses ranging from Illustration to Digital Media.
