Emily R. Levy

Emily R. Levy, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She holds dual appointments as Consultant in the Divisions of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Infectious Diseases within the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.

• Education: MD (University of California San Francisco), Fellowships in Pediatric Infectious Diseases (Mayo Clinic) and Pediatric Critical Care (Harvard Medical School).

Research Interests: Dr. Levy specializes in infections affecting immunocompromised children, with a focus on healthcare-associated infections, central line-associated bloodstream infections, respiratory failure, and immunodysregulation in MIS-C. Her work spans:

• COVID-19 vaccine efficacy in pediatrics
• Immunologic responses in MIS-C
• Critical influenza illness and respiratory failure
• Infection prevention strategies in ECMO and immunocompromised populations
