معرفی
Ofer Levy is a Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Director of the Precision Vaccines Program. He is also a Senior Physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Boston Children's Hospital. His research focuses on pediatric vaccine development, neonatal immunity, and immunological mechanisms of disease. Levy holds an MD and PhD from New York University, with postgraduate training at Boston Children's Hospital.

Levy’s research emphasizes optimizing vaccines for vulnerable populations, including newborns and immunocompromised individuals. His lab explores novel adjuvants, multi-omic profiling of immune responses, and biomarkers predictive of vaccine efficacy. Key areas include SARS-CoV-2 vaccine optimization, fentanyl overdose prevention vaccines, and neonatal sepsis diagnostics.
Recent work highlights immune correlates of severe COVID-19, host-microbe interactions in transplant recipients, and predictive gene signatures for neonatal sepsis. He leads international collaborations to advance maternal-neonatal immunization strategies and precision vaccinology.
Levy’s grants and initiatives address global health challenges, such as improving vaccine safety and efficacy in low-resource settings. His team develops translational tools like microphysiological models and high-throughput screening for adjuvants.
