Emily Palmer is a Lecturer in Secondary English at the School of Education, Edith Cowan University (ECU). She specializes in fostering equity in education and cultivating a love for literature among students. Her academic journey includes a practice-led PhD from the University of Adelaide (2020) on representations of gender in young adult fantasy fiction.
