Dr. Emily-Marie Pacheco is an Associate Tutor (School of Education) and Tutor (Academic Services) at the University of Glasgow, with a UKRI-ESRC Research Fellowship at University College London (UCL). She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, focusing on trauma exposure in international students from conflict-affected regions. Her work bridges social psychology, education, and disaster recovery, emphasizing resilience, identity, and cross-cultural dynamics.
Research interests include trauma’s psychosocial impacts, stress coping mechanisms, and community resilience in post-disaster contexts.
