About Dr. Filiz Celik
Dr. Filiz Celik is a Lecturer in Psychology at Swansea University's School of Psychology. She holds dual roles as a UKCP-accredited Systemic and Family Psychotherapist, splitting her time between academic teaching and clinical practice as a Highly Specialist Psychotherapist for a Health Board. Her research focuses on psychological trauma, intergenerational trauma transmission, and mental health disparities affecting marginalized populations such as refugees, asylum seekers, and transnational communities.
