Emily Graham LeRose serves as an Adjunct Professor of Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders within Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She concurrently maintains a clinical role at Henry Ford Health, providing multidisciplinary autism diagnostics and outpatient therapy for pediatric and adult populations.
Her academic credentials include a B.A. and M.A. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wayne State University. She holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
Dr. LeRose's research focuses on telehealth applications for autism diagnosis and the broad phenotypic manifestations of speech and language disorders across age groups. Her clinical expertise spans both developmental and acquired communication disorders through evidence-based telepractice methodologies.
She instructs graduate courses including SLP6640: Language Development and Disorders: Infants and Preschool Children and SLP7100: Research Methods: Evidenced-Based Practice, integrating clinical insights with academic instruction across multiple academic terms.
