Emily Forsyth

Emily Forsyth is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Health Science Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato, College of Allied Health and Nursing. She has taught courses such as HLTH 210 (First Aid and CPR), HLTH 260 (Introduction to Health Education), HLTH 311 (Family Life and Sexuality Education), HLTH 475/575 (Biostatistics), HLTH 455/555 (Health and Aging), and HLTH 495 (Senior Seminar). Her clinical background includes roles as a registered nurse (RN) at multiple hospitals and health systems, including the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Scientific awards include the NLN/Sigma Theta Tau Diane Billings Research Award, Gamman of the Year (Truman State University), and recognition from the Vivian J. Roller Foundation and Eta Sigma Gamma. She has served as an advisor for undergraduate and graduate Applied Health Science students and received grants, including a Huntsville Hospital award.
