Cindy Paradiso is an Assistant Professor at the Lienhard School of Nursing within the College of Health Professions at Pace University. She holds a PhD in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse (RN-BC) and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), with over two decades of clinical experience primarily at White Plains Hospital in medical-surgical and critical care nursing, as well as leadership roles.

Her research focuses on medication administration, pharmacology education, interprofessional learning, first and second-year nursing student retention, and patient safety in clinical settings. She employs qualitative methodologies to explore the lived experiences of nursing students and novice nurses during critical clinical transitions.
Her recent publications and presentations highlight trends in nursing education, clinical safety, and organizational excellence, particularly in medication safety, Magnet redesignation, and data-driven improvement in oncology nursing. These works reflect a strong commitment to evidence-based teaching and practice.

Her grants and sponsored research focus on enhancing experiential learning in nursing education.
She is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the National League for Nursing (NLN), American Nurses Association–New York (ANA-NY), Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Professional Nurses Association of Dutchess/Putnam. She also maintains active clinical involvement through per diem work in the quality department at White Plains Hospital, ensuring her teaching remains grounded in real-world healthcare standards.
