Emily FitzGerald is an adjunct instructor in the Philosophy and Critical Thought department at Purchase College while completing her PhD in philosophy of religion at Columbia University. She will soon assume the role of Assistant Professor of Humanities at Utah Tech University. FitzGerald holds a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Asian Studies from Purchase College (2010). Her research focuses on embodied imagination, non-duality, and the intersection of martial arts with Buddhist philosophy, as explored in her dissertation, “Empty Hands: Embodied Imagination in Non-Duality.”
