Emily Bargh is a Lecturer in Midwifery at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), affiliated with the School of Health and Social Care and the Health Research Institute. She graduated from SHU's BSc Midwifery program in 2016 and returned to academia in 2024. Her roles include teaching across BSc and MSc Midwifery programs, leading the Level 4 module 'Foundations in Midwifery Care', and serving as Academic Advisor, Assessor, and Link Lecturer for Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.
- Education: BSc Midwifery (SHU, 2013-2016)
- Current Studies: MSc Higher Midwifery (completion: Sept 2025) and Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) training
Research interests focus on systemic newborn examination (SEN/NIPE), aromatherapy in midwifery, infant feeding, workplace escalation protocols, and neurodiversity support within NHS staff and students. She holds NHS experience as a Ward Sister and Learning Environment Manager.
