Emilie Gauthier

Emilie Gauthier is a doctoral researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, Germany, within the Department of Compound Environmental Risks. She is part of the Compound Climate Extremes research group led by Dr. Emanuele Bevacqua. Her PhD focuses on analyzing spatial dependencies of extreme wildfire events in Europe using the Fire Weather Index and SMILEs simulations, addressing compound event impacts under climate change.
