Emanuele Di Angelantonio is a Professor at the University of Cambridge's Department of Public Health and Primary Care (PHPC). He leads the Clinical Epidemiology Team within the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit and directs the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Donor Health and Genomics. His academic career spans cardiovascular medicine training in Italy and France, an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2005), and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge (2009).

His research focuses on cardiovascular disease screening, global vascular health, and multi-omics genetic prediction. The Clinical Epidemiology Team under his leadership engages in methodological development and translational research, with particular emphasis on environmentally sustainable computational science.
