Emanuele Bruni

Emanuele Bruni is a fixed-term and defined-term type A researcher in the Department of Applied Biology (BIOS-10/A) at the International University of Health and Medical Sciences UNICAMILLUS in Rome, Italy. He also provides personalized educational tutoring services there. He holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata', alongside a Specialist Degree in Biology and Human Evolution (cum laude), a Bachelor’s in Cellular and Molecular Biology, and a Master’s in Personalized Nutrition (cum laude).

Research Focus: Bioprinting of human skin constructs using fibroblasts and keratinocytes; incorporation of squamous cell carcinoma cells via spheroid techniques; immune response to immunotherapy (immunological checkpoint inhibitors) in skin tumors. Prior work includes anti-tumor therapies, magnetic field effects on apoptosis, and nanoparticle biology.

Grants & Labs: Engaged in post-doctoral research at IDI-IRCCS on 3D-printed skin models and tumor studies. Collaborates with experimental immunology and tissue engineering teams.
