Carmine Bruno is a researcher at Link Campus University in Rome and a medical director in Endocrinology at Istituto Dermopatico dell'Immacolata IDI-IRCCS. He graduated magna cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, later specializing in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the same institution. He further obtained a second-level master's degree in Andrology and Reproductive Medicine from the University of Padua.
In clinical practice, Bruno focuses on endocrine and metabolic disorders, particularly endocrinopathies linked to oncological therapies and infertility. His research involves studying adult growth hormone deficiency and the effects of endocrine signaling on antioxidant systems, with over 50 publications in high-impact journals. He serves on the editorial board of BMC Endocrine Disorders and is affiliated with professional societies: AME, SIAMS, and SIUMB.
