Emanuela Luisa Faelli is an Associate Professor at the Department of Experimental Medicine (DIMES) of the University of Genoa. She holds leadership roles as Director and Board Member of the Multidisciplinary Center for Teacher Training, and serves on the Department Board of DIMES. Research Interests focus on physiological responses to exercise, motor activity optimization, and adapted physical training across developmental and aging populations. Key areas include biomechanical aspects of sports performance, functional evaluation in physical activity, and interdisciplinary applications of physiology to health.
Recent Publications highlight innovations in dynamic stretching protocols, resistance training adaptations, rowing performance metrics, cycling interval training, and aging-related mobility improvements through combined physical and cognitive interventions.
Teaching Roles span multiple degree programs, including single-cycle Master's in Medicine and Surgery, and specialized courses in Preventive and Adapted Physical Activity. She teaches THEORY AND METHODOLOGY OF MOTOR ACTIVITIES, FUNCTIONAL EVALUATION TESTS, and ETHICS IN PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE.
