Elyssa Nunez

Elyssa Nunez serves as a Research Associate in Clinical and Applied Science Education at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University.

Her expertise spans biochemistry and medical research, including drug discovery, protein synthesis, crystallography, and animal efficacy testing. She supports faculty research initiatives in wet lab environments and trains medical students in laboratory techniques.

Prior to UIWSOM, she worked in pharmaceutical development and as a Medical Assistant, integrating clinical and laboratory perspectives.
