Elvis Mazzoni is an Associate Professor in Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Bologna's Department of Psychology 'Renzo Canestrari', where he also serves as Director of the Second Cycle Degree in School and Community Psychology. His research focuses on Educational Psychology, Lifespan Development, Digital Revolution, Problematic Internet Use, and Robotics in Human Development. He holds a PhD in Social, Developmental, and Organizational Psychology (2003) and has completed certifications such as the DSES-LEARN (2008) and training in informatics (1987).
He has led grants including the EU H2020 Catch-EyoU project (2015-2018) and contributed to notable awards like the Best Creative Technology Award (2016) and Outstanding Paper Award (2015). His research spans digital wellness, virtual reality applications, and AI in education.
