Elnaz Bajoori

Elnaz Bajoori is Senior Lecturer in Economics at University of Bath, specializing in game theory, auction design, and decision-making under uncertainty. Joined Bath in 2013 after PhD from Maastricht University.

Leads econometric research group supporting graduate students. Research develops theoretical frameworks for auction mechanisms including security-bid auctions with risk-averse bidders and delegated search problems. Experimental work examines bidder behavior under cash-equity tradeoffs.

Current projects include mathematical modeling of renewable energy auctions for efficient allocation systems. Secured funding for social housing quality research during cost-of-living crisis. Coordinates academic workshops on auction mechanisms through SWDTP grant.
