Elliott Isaac is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Tulane University, specializing in public and labor economics. His research examines the intersection of family dynamics with tax and transfer systems, labor supply decisions, and social policy impacts.
- Education: BA from Wake Forest University; MA and PhD from University of Virginia
His recent projects include analyses of joint taxation effects on same-sex couples, marriage/divorce responses to policy changes, and college selectivity impacts on women's career-family outcomes. Current research trends focus on gender norms, household economics, and welfare policy interactions.
