معرفی
Ellen Fogle is a Lecturer in the College of Education at Missouri State University, teaching ELE 500 Current Issues in Elementary Education. She is actively involved in a transformative partnership between Missouri State University and Mark Twain Elementary, launched in Fall 2024, which integrates classroom practice with academic training. This collaboration emphasizes Competency-Based Learning (CBL) and provides Missouri State students with 130-hour internships, fostering early and frequent hands-on experience in elementary classrooms.
The partnership, spearheaded by Dr. Amber Howard, involves faculty like Fogle in designing courses that bridge theory and practice. For instance, MSU students in ELE 500 engage in immersive internships at Twain, aligning with the university’s commitment to exceeding state requirements for teacher preparation. The program also aims to expand professional development opportunities for Twain teachers, focusing on equitable assessment and CBL principles.
