Associate Professor Dr. Ellen Chung Siew Mee is a distinguished academic in the Faculty of Business, Design and Arts at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak. With nearly three decades of combined experience in Shangri-La’s Hotels and Resorts and Malaysian public universities, she brings exceptional industry-academia integration to her role. Her leadership spans Training Manager, Postgraduate Centre Head, and International Affairs Coordinator positions prior to joining Swinburne.
Her research expertise centers on Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Online Learning, and Community Engagement. She investigates critical intersections like digital learning’s impact on student mental health, sustainable community-university partnerships, and gender dynamics in workplaces. Her work consistently bridges theoretical rigor with practical applications in hospitality and education sectors.
