Ellen Caldwell

Ellen Caldwell is a Research Professor at Clarkson University, affiliated with the Arts, Culture and Technology Department. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in English from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a B.A. in English from Guilford College, North Carolina.

Her research focuses on Shakespeare Studies and War Studies, particularly examining the portrayal of military conflict in Renaissance literature. She has also contributed to analyses of national identity formation during the Hundred Years' War.
