Ella Ottrey is a **Senior Research Fellow** at the **Monash Centre for Scholarship in Health Education (MCSHE)**, Monash University. Her work focuses on health professions education, supervision training, and interprofessional practice, with a particular emphasis on mealtime care in healthcare settings.
**Research Projects**:
- Leading the NHMRC-funded project on mealtimes in subacute wards (2017–2018).
- Critical contributor to the national initiative reducing high-risk medication use through the Knowledge Transfer Framework (2025–2028).
**Research Interests**: Ethnographic approaches to healthcare practices, longitudinal studies on professional transitions, supervision training effectiveness, and the intersection of clinical nutrition with patient-centered care.
