Elizabeth Young

Elizabeth Young is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Lehigh University. Her research focuses on photochemistry and ultrafast spectroscopy, particularly in applications related to solar energy and proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET) reactions.

• Education: B.S. from Haverford College (2002), Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from MIT (2009)

Her work bridges experimental and computational approaches to study excited-state dynamics in molecular systems. She co-founded the PURE program, an immersive undergraduate research initiative in photochemistry.
