Her research focuses on the intersection of women writers, acoustic science, and musical aesthetics during the long nineteenth century. She is currently working on a project that positions female authors as central figures in these discourses.
Her work has been published or is forthcoming in European Romantic Review, The Rambling, and the edited volume Nineteenth-Century Literature in Transition: The 1800's. Recent publications, such as her Praxis Essay on Unquiet Romanticism, explore interdisciplinary connections between Romantic-era literature and acoustic science.
