معرفی
Dr. Elizabeth Uhl is a Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a DVM from Cornell University (1988) and a PhD from the University of Florida (1996), and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (DACVP, 1998). Her research focuses on molecular pathology, particularly genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying disease susceptibility and resistance. Notable projects include studying NF-kB activation in virus-induced asthma models, FIV infection, and skin tumor pathogenesis in animals. She was a Lilly Teaching Fellow (2005-2006) and teaches courses such as On the Origins of Disease and Musculoskeletal Pathology.
- Education:
- DVM, Cornell University (1988)
- PhD, University of Florida (1996)
- DACVP Certification (1998)
- Research Interests:
- Molecular mechanisms of disease pathogenesis
- Immunological responses in viral infections (e.g., FIV, influenza)
- Epigenetic regulation in tumor development
