Elizabeth Stone is a Professor in the English Department at Fordham University. She holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and MA/PhD from New York University. Her research focuses on creative non-fiction, twentieth-century American autobiography, and memoir studies.
Her primary research areas include narrative construction of identity, therapeutic aspects of life writing, and the intersection of journalism with literary forms. She teaches courses on Writing for Publication, New Wave Immigrant Literature, and autobiographical forms.
