Elizabeth Shewark is an Assistant Professor at the University of Notre Dame, holding the William J. Shaw Center for Children and Families Collegiate Chair. Her primary research area is Developmental Psychology, focusing on how contextual (family, school, neighborhood) and genetic factors jointly influence youth competence and resilience. She employs advanced statistical methods to study developmental trajectories and mediational pathways in competency development across environments.
