Dr. Laura Miller-Graff is a Professor at the University of Notre Dame, serving as Associate Department Chair and Director of the William J. Shaw Center for Children and Families. She holds affiliations with the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, Eck Institute for Global Health, and the Institute for Educational Initiatives. Her research focuses on the developmental and intergenerational impacts of violence exposure in childhood, emphasizing resilience mechanisms and culturally adapted interventions. Dr. Miller-Graff earned her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
Her work explores trauma responses in vulnerable populations, particularly pregnant women and families in conflict zones.
