Elizabeth Mann, RN, M.S.N., PHNA serves as the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program Coordinator at the School of Nursing & Population Health at the University of New England, where she joined faculty in 2022-23. Her work focuses on preparing future nurses to improve population health through prevention and addressing determinants of health. Previously, she spent five years as a Clinical Educator at UNE's Center for Excellence in Public Health, developing continuing education programs for Maine health professionals with an emphasis on health equity.
Her nursing career has spanned diverse community-based roles including care management, infection prevention, primary care in an urban Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), and women's health. She currently works at the Portland Campus for the Health Sciences (Blewett 223) and is contactable at emann1@une.edu or (207) 221-4733.
