Elizabeth Dubben serves as Assistant Professor, Director of Arts Entrepreneurship, and Associate Director of Arts Administration at Skidmore College, while also leading Collar Works—a nonprofit contemporary arts organization in Troy, NY, dedicated to supporting emerging artists through exhibitions and professional development.
Her educational foundation includes:

- MBA with certificate in non-profit management from The College of Saint Rose
Dubben's expertise spans arts administration, curation, business strategy, and professional development for artists, with a career trajectory including founding Amrose Sable Gallery, directing exhibitions at Saratoga Arts, and pioneering arts entrepreneurship education. Her research focuses on integrating business acumen into artistic practice, non-profit arts sustainability, and emerging artist development within contemporary art ecosystems.
At Skidmore College since 2012, she coordinates the Entrepreneurial Artist Initiative, developing courses like 'Entrepreneurial Artist' and 'Marketplace for Artists' that bridge creative practice with business fundamentals, while administering scholarships and organizing industry networking events.
Her leadership extends to Collar Works (Executive Director since 2015), where she cultivates dialogues around contemporary art practices and implements professional development frameworks for emerging creators, building on her prior seven-year tenure directing exhibitions and development at Saratoga Arts.
