Elizabeth Dooley, Ed.D., is a Professor in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida's College of Community Innovation and Education. She serves as the academic program director for the Ph.D. Teaching Learning and Development Track. Her leadership roles include being UCF's first woman and African American Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, as well as Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning and Dean of the College of Undergraduate Studies. Previously, she held executive positions at West Virginia University, including Founding Dean of WVU University College.

Her research focuses on equity-minded teaching strategies, academic achievement, and student success. Dr. Dooley is a mentor to students and faculty, with extensive experience in doctoral dissertation chairing. She has received multiple recognitions for her advocacy in civil rights and academic innovation.
