Elizabeth Agnew Cochran is Professor of Theology at Duquesne University's McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts. Her research examines virtue ethics and the history of moral thought, with particular focus on historical Protestant theology. She is currently investigating the interplay between Stoic philosophy and contemporary Christian virtue ethics.
Education includes a PhD in Theology from University of Notre Dame (2007), M.Div. from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (2002), and BA in English from Texas A&M University (1999).
Teaching encompasses Theological Ethics, Sex and Ethics, and Health Care Ethics at undergraduate level, and Foundational Moral Theology, Virtue Ethics, and Protestant Theological Ethics at graduate level.
