Elitsa Kostova

Elitsa Kostova serves as an Assistant Lecturer in Acting for Dramatic Theater and Stage Speech at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts and Film 'Krustyo Sarafov' since June 2023, while concurrently pursuing doctoral studies under Prof. Penko Gospodinov. She maintains an active parallel career as a freelance actress, integrating professional performance experience into her academic role within the Faculty of Performing Arts.

Her educational foundation includes:

• Master's degree in Public Speaking (2018–2019)
• Bachelor's degree in Acting for Dramatic Theater (2014–2018)
• High school specialization in Graphic Design (2009–2014)

Her pedagogical and artistic focus centers on Theatre, Dramatic Arts, and Acting techniques, with emphasis on Stage Speech and Public Speaking. She bridges academic theory with practical performance through her dual career trajectory, enriching classroom instruction with contemporary theatrical applications.

She received recognition through a Golden Kukerikon 2024 nomination in the Young Hope category for her authorial performance in "THE FIRST DIARY", highlighting emerging talent in Bulgarian theatre.

As an educator, she collaborates within teaching teams led by Prof. Zdravko Mitkov and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Dimitrov-Mechkarski, contributing to Bulgaria's theatrical education ecosystem while advancing her own artistic research through doctoral work.
