Elissa D. Giffords

Elissa D. Giffords is a Professor in the Department of Social Work at Long Island University (LIU) Post, where she has been a dedicated faculty member since 2000. She is actively involved in teaching, student advising, scholarly research, and university and community service. Her academic affiliations include the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and she serves as Faculty Liaison for the MSW Graduate Student Association, Phi Alpha Honor Society, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
