Elish Angiolini

Dame Elish Angiolini is an Honorary Professor and the current Principal of St. Hugh's College at the University of Oxford. Her career spans significant roles in Scotland’s legal and prosecution systems, including serving as the first female Lord Advocate (2006–2011) and Solicitor General for Scotland (2001–2006). She is known for modernizing justice procedures, advocating for vulnerable victims and witnesses, and reducing court congestion.
