Elisavet Georgiadou

Dr. Elisavet Georgiadou is a Tutor at the School of Applied Arts, Hellenic Open University, and teaching staff at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is a researcher and educator specializing in graphic arts, new media, and educational hypermedia systems, with a PhD in Educational Hypermedia from De Montfort University (1998).

• Education: Degree in Graphic Arts (Technological Institute of Athens, 1991), Diploma in Photography (Stavrakos School, 1991), Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Greek School of Pedagogical and Technological Education), MA in Image Studies (University of Kent, 1994), PhD in Educational Hypermedia (De Montfort University, 1998).

Her research focuses on the intersection of hypermedia systems, educational technology, and visual communication. She has presented work at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, with hundreds of citations. Her work extends to artistic practices in photography and documentary filmmaking, where she engages in full production processes.
