Daniel V. Novatnak

Daniel V. Novatnak is a full-time Professor in the Department of Digital Media at the University of Central Florida (UCF), affiliated with the School of Film and Digital Media. He has held academic roles at Full Sail Real World Education and Rollins College, and has worked in industry as a technical consultant and system administrator.

His research interests span interactive design, landscape photography, documentary filmmaking, and graphic design, with recent focus on UCF iCorps projects examining personas in nonreal space interactions. He has received accolades such as the 2012 Sony “Rising Star” award for his contributions.
