Elisabeth Langmann

Dr. Elisabeth Langmann is a Medical Ethicist working as a Scientific Associate at the Institute for Ethics and History of Health in Society within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Augsburg since July 2024. She has built a strong academic trajectory across multiple institutions including Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (2021-2024), FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (2019-2021), and Medical University of Graz (2017-2019).

Her research focuses on feminist medical ethics, with particular expertise in ageism in healthcare, marginalization dynamics, relational autonomy, and the ethical implications of digital health technologies. She successfully defended her dissertation on 'Ageism in Healthcare: Perspectives of Feminist Medical Ethics' in 2024.
