Elisabeth Gallant

Dr. Elisabeth Gallant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, College of Natural and Health Sciences. Her research focuses on volcanic processes, including eruption response dynamics, edifice growth mechanisms, and lava flow behavior quantification. She collaborates extensively with the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, employing ground-based radar interferometry and geochemical analysis for real-time hazard assessment.
