Nick Deardorff is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Geospatial and Earth Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), part of the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. His work includes field studies at NW Rota-1 volcano in the Mariana Arc and the Collier Cone lava flow in Oregon. He collaborates with institutions like the National Science Foundation and has published extensively on volcanic processes, magma dynamics, and eruption mechanisms.
