Elisabeth Austad Asser is a Lecturer at the Department of Information and Communication Technology, University of Agder. Holding a PhD (2023) focused on AI ethics within banking, she specializes in the societal impacts of artificial intelligence and human values. Her interdisciplinary work bridges philosophy, literature, and technology.

Research interests include AI ethics, digitalization, and philosophical challenges in technology. Her work examines how AI systems interact with organizational values and amplify social inequalities. She contributes to the CAIR Research Group at UiA and teaches the course Artificial Intelligence, Humans and Society (FIL905).
