Elisa Pueschel

Dr. Elisa Pueschel is an astrophysicist affiliated with the Institute of Astronomy at Ruhr University Bochum. She leads the „Dark100“ project, focusing on unexplored mass ranges of dark matter particles. Prior roles include heading a Helmholtz Young Investigator Group (2017–2022) at DESY Zeuthen and postdoctoral research positions at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (USA) and University College Dublin (Ireland). She earned her PhD in 2010 from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

Research Interests: Elisa Pueschel specializes in astrophysics, dark matter detection, particle physics, and cosmology. Her work bridges theoretical and experimental approaches to understand fundamental particles and their role in cosmic structures.
