Elisa Beceiro

Elisa Beceiro is a full professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of A Coruña (UDC). She serves as the university's representative in the Interuniversity Commission of Galicia (CIUG), effective since January 2025. With a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela, she has been at UDC since 1992, contributing to both academic and administrative roles.

Her research focuses on environmental analysis, particularly developing methodologies for trace metals, persistent pollutants, and microplastics in water and marine environments. She collaborates with institutions and has conducted research stays at the University of Plymouth and University of Strathclyde. She is affiliated with the Applied Analytical Chemistry Research Group and the Scientific Council of the University Institute of the Environment.
