Elena Bilevicius, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Manitoba's Max Rady College of Medicine. She is also a clinical psychologist at the Health Sciences Centre's Pain Management Centre in Winnipeg, Canada. Her work focuses on improving mental health and quality of life for adults with chronic pain, particularly chronic pelvic pain, using acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and self-compassion approaches.
