Eleanor Winpenny

Dr Eleanor Winpenny is an Assistant Professor in Early Life Epidemiology at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. Her research focuses on health behaviors during late adolescence and early adulthood, particularly how structural and environmental factors contribute to health inequalities. She leads the Diet and Eating Behaviours across Early Adulthood Transitions (DEBEAT) study.

• Research at intersection of nutritional, behavioral, and life-course epidemiology
• Conducts methodological work on longitudinal data analysis and sleep research
• Active in academic mentoring and behavioral nutrition societies

She previously held an MRC Career Development Award at the University of Cambridge and completed her PhD in Developmental Neuroscience at the John van Geest Centre for Brain Repair, University of Cambridge.
