Eleanor M. Miller is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Vermont (UVM), where she previously served as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences from 2005 to 2011. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago, following an AB in English from Emmanuel College. Her expertise spans classical sociological theory, feminist social and political theory, deviance, gender studies, and qualitative research methods.

Research & Awards: Miller authored Street Woman (winner of the ASA Distinguished Scholar Award) and co-edited The Worth of Women's Work.
