Eleanor Latham is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Neurology) at Keele University's School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy. She holds a physiotherapy degree from the University of Birmingham and has extensive clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and functional neurological disorders. Her career includes roles at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, Moseley Hall Hospital, Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust, and the ESD Stroke Team in Wolverhampton.
Education: Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham.
Research Interests: Eleanor focuses on Graded Motor Imagery for chronic widespread pain, functional neurological disorders, and neurological rehabilitation. She presented her work on Graded Motor Imagery at the 2018 West Midlands Pain Conference. Her clinical experience spans brain injury rehabilitation, pain management, and advanced physiotherapy practices.
Teaching & Experience: She has delivered sessional teaching across West Midlands universities and completed a secondment at Keele University in 2022 before her current role.
